Affordable Vinyl Fence

Finding An Affordable Vinyl Fence Supplier

Vinyl fencing offers a lot of advantages over wood and other materials. It's durable, comes in multiple colors (not just white or black) and it can be made to look like other types of materials at the same time. It can be more expensive, however, so let's look at some tips for finding an affordable vinyl fence supplier.

First, you'll need to decide whether you're going to build the fence yourself or have someone do it for you. There's no simple answer to this, it will depend on how comfortable you are with doing that kind of work. But if you're going to be building your own fence, you'll have more options for finding lower prices - possibly even buying wholesale.

If you're going to have someone else do the work for you, however, you're often better off buying the fencing from the same company that is going to do the installation. You'll generally get a better price on the labor involved if you also buy the fence materials from them.

There are some popular brands of vinyl fence, such as Westech and Illusions, but there are also many house brands and other names that you won't recognize. Don't let this dissuade you from purchasing it - as long as the supplier offers a good warranty and stands behind their work, these brands should be fine.

You'll find many different designs when shopping for vinyl fencing. There's privacy fencing, semi-privacy fencing, picket fencing and more. You can even find commercial grade fencing that is not necessarily as attractive, but more heavy duty and able to stand up to harsher conditions.

The design of the fence panels will have a bearing on their price. For example, 6' x 8' premium privacy fencing with decorative top & bottom rails from Husker Vinyl will cost roughly $195 per panel, plus the cost of the post and caps, while their picket fence panels are only about $70. If you have a specific need - such as privacy - you may not be able to choose from two such different prices, but you'll still be able to find a range, depending on the design and features of the fence panels.

Because vinyl fencing comes in pre-formed designs, and you're not building each panel by hand, you'll need to ensure you get the right size for your particular needs. There are various sizes of panels available, for different uses. A privacy fence to separate your yard from your neighbors is obviously going to be bigger than the fence you put around a veranda, for example.
